COVERED BRIDGE TOURS

There are over 100 covered bridges in Vermont. In fact, Vermont has more covered bridges per square mile than any other state. Most of the bridges were constructed during the mid and late 19th century. (Don’t be surprised if you find even older ones dating back to 1820.) The most famous covered bridge in Stowe is  Emily’s Bridge, which is rumored to be haunted.
