The Stoweflake Balloon Festival, held annually in our events field, is an area favorite followed by the well-known British Invasion and Winter Carnival. JANUARY 13 - 27, 2018

When planning a visit to Stowe this winter, think about coming for the Stowe Derby! This famous downhill cross-country race is celebrating its 70th anniversary with activities for the whole family. A blast for all levels of skiers! Special activities include kick sleds races, games, food and plenty more. Experience the thrill of the Stowe Derby. Now including a 14km Derby Fat Bike race and the Derby Fat Meister.

MAY-OCTOBER, 2018

Every Sunday, from May through October, shop the best in local produce, food, arts and crafts and other local products. The Stowe Farmers' Market offers an incredible assortment of local fresh vegetables, meats, cheese, milk, berries, maple syrup, bread and baked goods, pickles, flowers, herbal products, mushrooms, fermented vegetables, thirst quenching beverages, mead and spirits. This event takes place right across the street from Stoweflake!

MAY 4 - 6, 2018

The Stowe Weekend of Hope offers a healthy, inspirational retreat weekend for cancer survivors and their families. The annual forum offers education, enlightenment, inspiration and retreat in the restorative environment of Stowe. This enriching experience is unique in that it provides support for the survivor, the care giver, and family members.

Craft Brew Race series comes to Stowe! The 5k road race followed by a local beer festival is being sponsored and on Stoweflake grounds. Runners and walkers, as well as designated drivers and festival only are welcome to participate in the race and then enjoy the festivities featuring great local beer, local food, and live music!

JUNE 29-JULY 1, 2018

The Stowe Bikes, Bevs and Beats Festival (B3 Fest) celebrates Vermont music, Vermont craft libations (beers, wines, spirits, ciders, root beer), and a celebration of Vermont mountain biking. This is a town-wide event, with restaurants serving as the venues! Area bike shops are hosting mountain bike group rides in town for the B3 Fest weekend, which will start and end at participating B3 Fest venues.

JUNE 23 - 24, 2018

The Vermont Renaissance Faire will be held Saturday and Sunday June 24th & 25th 2017 in Stowe Vermont. The faire will include local craft vendors, numerous beer, wine, mead and cider makers from around Vermont, a dedicated kids area, a medieval encampment, fight demos and a joust. Come in garb, come with your friends, come to Vermont. The Vermont Renaissance Faire...Kid Friendly...Odin Approved.

AUGUST 3-4, 2018

The 4th Annual Craft Brew Festival kicked off in 2015 with a huge bang by inviting over 40 of the best craft brewers from across Vermont and surrounding states to set up camp on the Stowe Events Fields for you to roam and find your new favorites. With local food trucks and live music, you can truly make the Craft Brew Festival the highlight of your weekend in Stowe, and within walking distance from Stoweflake!

AUGUST 10-12, 2018

800 antique & classic cars are on display. Some of the highlights include a giant automotive Flea Market, a car corral, and the antique car parade through town. The Antique and Classic Car Meet has been in the area for more than 60 years, and there's a reason why thousands of classic car aficionados return year after year.

Join The Fly Rod Shop for their 3rd Annual Fly Fishing Show right here in Stowe, Vermont! There will be an action packed weekend full of everything from two handed castings demos to sneak peaks of new rod line-ups to river fishing demonstrations minutes away from the shop!

The Stowe Event Fields will be playing host to the 27th Annual British Invasion. During the largest all-British motorcar lifestyle event in the U.S., over 600 British-made automobiles will fill the streets of Stowe. Any Car enthusiast should plan to be here!

Pumpkin Chuckin' Festival and Chili Cook-Off: A one-day event where do-it-yourself mechanical wizards of all ages attempt to launch pumpkins as far as possible with trebuchets, which are medieval siege engines. Along with the pumpkin chuckin' contest comes music, children's activities, chili cook-off, mini-Olympics, and great food; all creating an enjoyable fall day. Festival runs from 11am-4pm.

Mark your calendars for the Alchemist Brewery's Octoberfest! Awesome German food, music by the Insedudler Oompah Band, and of course, beer! Brewers of the infamous "Heady Topper", the Alchemist, brings you the Heady Trotter 4 Miler! According to their website, this event is perfectly timed in the middle of Fall, between Leaf season and before the slopes open, that The Heady Trotter will be your favorite race, EVER. There will also be a post race party at the Alchemist Brewery (on the border of Stoweflake, a super easy walk), music, lawn games, beer specials, food truck festival at the finish line. All runners receive a 25% discount on your stays at the Stoweflake, so make a weekend out of it and never have to use your car!

Stowe Foliage Arts Festival will take place at Stowe's Event Field where 150 great talented artists, creative craftspeople, and unique specialty food makers will gather amidst the apex of fall foliage in the quintessential Vermont town. Besides the creative shopping, you can also experience craft demos, live entertainment, horse rides, hay wagon rides, and pumpkin carving!
