A blast for all levels of skiers! Special activities include kick sleds races, games, food and plenty more. Experience the thrill of the Stowe Derby.
Craft Brew Race comes to Stowe! The 5k road race followed by a local beer festival is being sponsored and on Stoweflake grounds. Runners and walkers, as well as designated drivers and festival only are welcome to participate in the race and then enjoy the festivities featuring great local beer, local food, and live music!

More than 25 hot-air balloons will soar through the sky during Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa's 29th Hot Air Balloon Festival. 800 antique & classic cars are on display. Some of the highlights include a giant automotive Flea Market, a car corral, and the antique car parade through town. Pumpkin Chuckin’ Festival and Chili Cook-Off: A one-day event where do-it-yourself mechanical wizards of all ages attempt to launch pumpkins as far as possible with trebuchets, which are medieval siege engines. Along with the pumpkin chuckin’ contest comes music, children’s activities, chili cook-off, mini-Olympics, and great food; all creating an enjoyable fall day. Festival runs from 11am-4pm.
