Stowe offers a multitude of activities for all interests and all age groups, including Great for Kids activities, that are available in all four seasons. In summer, 15 golf courses within an hour's drive tempt any golf enthusiast. But the Green Mountains offer so many other ways to get outside in the fresh mountain air. In fall, Stowe offers numerous ways to enjoy the spectacular fall foliage for which Vermont is famous. In winter, Stowe Mountain Resort, as well as four other resorts within an hours drive, offers great terrain for all abilities as well as full service ski programs. But Stowe is much more than just skiing, as numerous winter adventure opportunities await you throughout the town.

And some activities are available all year round. The Spa at Stoweflake offers a quiet respite from the outside world with a Meditative Garden, Seven Circuit Labyrinth and Solacium per Aqua water sculpture. The Spa was recently recognized by Condé Nast Traveler with a perfect score: Top Resort Spas for Setting and also rated a Top Spa! Outside of the Stoweflake, the town of Stowe provides a wide variety of shops that are sure to please any shopper, from antique shops and country stores to upscale modern boutiques.
