Administration/Office Manager

Stoweflake Resort and Spa is looking for an Administration/Office Manager to oversee the Accounting and Administration team. This position handles all benefit administration, new hire, personnel issue, over sees the daily accounting processes which include payroll, daily cashout of the resorts outlets, accounts receivables & payables and administration duties. We are looking for someone with 3 years of experience and 1 year of supervisory experience to fill this position. Hotel experience is a plus.

Sales Manager - Groups

We are seeking a dynamic individual to add to our sales team. The Conference Center at Stoweflake is one of the most award-winning conference centers in the country and is looking for a Sales Manager.

Hotel Group Sales Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Focus on producing sales through direct sales and maintaining current accounts and networking.
  • Acquire referrals from existing accounts; follow up on leads within 24 hrs. of receipt in an effort to create new business.
  • Maximize current hotel key accounts by identifying and developing those that offer revenue growth.
  • Capture competitor's accounts through networking, research and reader board surveys.
  • Responsible for re-booking business through building strong professional customer service.
  • Maintain well-documented, accurate, organized and up-to-date file management in order to serve client and employer needs.
  • Develop strong customer relationships through appropriate client communication, sales and negotiating skills and the use of professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction.
  • Represent self and the hotel with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Job Requires individual to be goal oriented and results driven. Position also requires occasional AM/PM work plus some weekends and that individual passes background check.

GUEST SERVICES
Guest Services Representative FT or PT

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the hotel until they check out. They should anticipate a guest's needs before they even know what they want. They may assist guests with all aspects of their stay. The customer service oriented agent will check guests into and out of the hotel, inform guests about hotel facilities/services, fulfill their requests during their stay, answer telephone inquiries, and make reservations.

Reservationist/Sales

Stoweflake is seeking a Fulltime PM Reservationist to follow AAA guidelines and Stoweflake policies. Job includes but not limited to; handle all incoming reservation calls with efficiency and professionalism, be able to make reservations, cancellations and answer questions on rates, hotel facilities, services and special promotions, being able to process payments with accuracy. Implement procedures provided to execute the job correctly. Maintain good relations with all guests. Four nights and 1 day shift required.

Housekeeping/Public Area Cleaner

The House person duties involve cleaning public areas of the hotel - vacuuming, dusting, cleaning public bathrooms; restocking linens for housekeepers, closets and restaurants. Provide amenities and services for guests as needed. Pay - hourly rate based on experience $12-$15 + seasonal bonuses

Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Laundry Attendant

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding and properly putting away all laundry in an efficient manner. Maintain current knowledge of all laundry procedures and company information.

BELLSTAFF

Candidate must possess: Excellent communication skills; Excellent guest relations skills; Heavy lifting required; An eye for detail; Ability to establish a sense of security to the guests/visitors; Must be 21 years of age, hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.

Housekeeping Staff needed for Rooms and Public Areas

Staff needed to help clean guest rooms and common areas to meet our 4 diamond standards. Weekends and holidays are required.

Public Area Cleanser/House Person

SPA AND WELLNESS CENTER AT STOWEFLAKE
Spa Desk Representative - FT or PT

This position include the following tasks and skills, but is not limited to the following description: Conduct tours of the spa facilities for hotel and outside guests. Receives incoming telephone calls promptly and politely, practicing proper phone etiquette. Takes messages for staff and clients, ensuring delivery in a timely manner. Be fully familiar with and knowledgeable about all spa services, treatments, and sports services. Possess a thorough knowledge of all spa services, rates and product costs. Maintains a thorough knowledge of general spa and resort programs and services, and be able to explain them to guests. Explains specific spa treatments and services and advise guests in choosing the best services for them based on their needs and interests. Books spa and salon services in an efficient and timely manner. Assists guests and members with the purchase of memberships, day fees, rentals, class fees.

Spa Desk Supervisor

Cosmetologist -PT

Perform hair, manicure, pedicure, make up and waxing services. These services will be for weddings and special events. Oversee and maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the salon areas and Spa facilities. Provide appropriate and consistent levels of guest service and hospitality. Conduct tours of the facility as requested. Work cooperatively and professionally with all departments. Attend regular meetings as directed by the Assistant Spa Director. Perform special projects as required by Treatments Manager or Spa Director. Training and seminars are provided for staff.

Requirements
Proficient in all aspects of cosmetology and waxing treatments. Excellent personal appearance, good communication skills and a friendly, congenial personality. The ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the guest. Weekend shifts.

Esthetician - Full or Part time

Be part of a world class team of spa professionals. We are looking for a Vermont State licensed esthetician to perform facials, waxing and make-up application in a high end customer service environment. Spa experience a plus, license required.

Ayurveda Body Worker

We are looking for a certified Ayurvedic Body Worker to join our world-class spa team. The Spa at Stoweflake is recognized as a leading Ayurvedic destination for spa and wellness travelers, as well, a retreat and training site for renowned Ayurvedic experts. The appropriate candidate would be able to perform consultations, lead workshops and assist facilitation of trainings and retreats. This candidate should also be trained in Ayurvedic bodywork or have the interest in doing so.

Sports Club/Sanctuary Attendant - FT or PT

Provide personal attention to guests. Prepare sports club/ sanctuary equipment and supplies daily. Replenish guest amenities, clothing and towels as necessary. Perform daily general cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in the facility.

Massage Therapist - Full or Part time

Be part of a world class team of spa professionals. We are looking for a licensed and/or certified massage therapist to perform massage and body treatments in a high end customer service environment. Spa experience a plus, license or certification required.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Banquet Chef

Responsible for planning, preparing, and executing all food within the Banquet Center at The Stoweflake Resort & Conference Center which includes 20,000 square feet of conference space. Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for incoming local, national and international clients through information provided in Stoweflake Conference Center Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Administrative duties may include scheduling, ordering, inventory, delegating, progressive discipline, and communicating information within the department and resort wide. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment. Be knowledgeable of Stoweflake Resort & Conference Center policies and procedures.

Requirements * Minimum one year banquet chef experience. Managerial and/or supervisory experience a plus. Have the ability to conceptualize and prepare food presentations for buffets, a la carte and banquet operations. Have the ability to discuss and sell food product ideas to prospective banquet clients. Have Knowledge of food science and chemistry in volume application. Order quality and quantity of required food products. Ability to prepare food and labor cost budgets. Ability to develop and scale up recipes in direct proportion. Organizational skills are critical to the success of this role.

Banquet Manager

Front House Banquet Manager needed at our full-service, multi-outlet Resort. Manage the daily operations of the Banquet area to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with standard operating procedures. Hire, manage, schedule & train the Banquet employees. Manage the set-up and food and beverage preparation and service to ensure compliance with Banquet Event Orders and an optimal level of service, quality and hospitality.

Minimum of five years hotel industry experience with an emphasis on banquet management and a minimum of two years banquet management experience is required. A flexible schedule is required as business happens during all shifts. Weekends, evenings and holidays are required.

Line cook

Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in accordance with standards and plating guides. Position requires previous work experience. Position offers opportunity for advancement.

  • Ability to work pantry, sauté and grill stations.

Dishwasher

This position is for the resort's main kitchen and conference kitchen. Duties of the job entail washing dishes, cleaning kitchen area, sweeping, mopping, putting away dishes to proper place, and taking out garbage. Light duty in prep cooking such as cutting and peeling.

Responsible for proper reconciliation of documentation.
