Management/Supervisor Positions



Director of Sales and Marketing

Overall responsibility is for the group sales and daily operation of the group Direct Sales department/effort. The business model of Stoweflake requires a 50% Group room's revenue contribution and to achieve 60% occupancy - neither of which have been achieved since 2007. This newly created position must drive the Group sales and the Group marketing effort to ensure such benchmarks are achieved, consistently. More specifically, the VP is responsible for carrying and managing established and prospecting accounts and will be sales/booking quotas - just as for the rest of the staff. Further, the position will manage and monitor the overall business development effort of the sales department to achieve the goals of the group sales department, as outlined by the President of Stoweflake, and contribute to the overall financial goals of Stoweflake. Group business is defined as any group of 20 people or more coming to the Stoweflake to utilize meeting rooms, guestrooms, conference and/or banquet facilities, (corporate, association, ski, tour, wedding, etc.)

Sales Manager

The role of the Sales Manager is to solicit future conference business for hotels in assigned geographic and industry type areas. Contact meeting planner by phone, e-mail, 3rd party/industry networking, personal calls, customer outings and hosting on-site experience visits on property. Negotiate space, dates and rates to obtain booking goal while focusing on shoulder and off season business. Absolute assurance of sales process documentation in sales operating system - Delphi. Achieve weekly quotas of completely qualified sales calls, email surveys and quality email contacts as well as monthly site experience goals. Assist in development and solicitation of package plans aimed at conference business and encourage repeat business. Assist in developing annual / quarterly / monthly sales and marketing strategies. Ensure sales /marketing of the entire resort - food, beverage (banquet and restaurant covers), golf, tennis, and spa. Develop working knowledge of cost factors (room rates, food and beverage, and the conference service operation.

Food & Beverage Manager - Front of House

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Restaurants and In-Room Dining to ensure excellent customer service. Will be responsible for hiring, managing, motivating and training the Front of House staff. Progressive track record of 5 or more years with deluxe hotel, resort and restaurant organizations for a multi-unit operation with revenues in excess of $3.5 million. Functional experience in guest services, dining room, and Front of the house management. Must have previous experience in presenting restaurant training and development programs and be computer literate with familiarity to varied restaurant point of sale systems.

Sous Chef - AM

Assumes responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Sous/ Executive Sous Chef and leads the culinary staff for successful kitchen operations. Ensure the effective operation of the kitchen by directly supervising culinary staff to precisely, consistently and safely deliver on guest food orders.

Banquet Manager

Manage the daily operations of the Banquet area to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with standard operating procedures. Manage the Banquet employees; schedule, train, empower, coach and counsel, resolve problems, provide open communication, recommend discipline as appropriate. Manage the set-up and food and beverage preparation and service to ensure compliance with Banquet Event Orders and ensure an optimal level of service, quality and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years hotel industry experience with an emphasis on banquet management. A minimum of two years banquet management experience is required. The candidate must also have the ability to effectively train, manage, and motivate a team. A flexible schedule is a must as business happens during all shifts. Weekends, evenings and holidays will be required at times.

Front Desk Supervisor:

Oversees Front Desk Operations - making sure that Stoweflake operating procedures are followed, AAA guidelines are adhered to and all aspects of front line operations for the hotel Conduct new staff training along with continual training of service standards. Resolves & monitor guest concerns, calling upon management when needed. Provides leadership and guidance for all Front Office Staff

Women's Sanctuary Attendant

Provide personal attention to guests. Oversee the operation of the sanctuary area. Prepare sanctuary equipment and supplies daily Perform daily general cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in the facility. Ensure a pleasant visit for each guest and maintain effective guest relations. All shifts required including day, evening, weekends and holidays.

Housekeeper/Room Attendants

Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and townhouses in a manner that will ensure Stoweflake's guests a clean, attractive and secure place to stay with friendly attentive service. Responsible for cleaning assigned rooms using approved cleaning chemicals and procedures. Must be able to bend repetitively and lift 30-50 pounds.

Breakfast Waitstaff

We are looking for "morning" people who are bright and cheery at 6 a.m. Seeking either full or part-time people for this year 'round position. Energetic, self-motivated person looking for a great work atmosphere a must!

Lunch & Dinner Waitstaff

Seeking either full- or part-time people for this year 'round position. Energetic, self-motivated person looking for a great work atmosphere a must!

Banquet Waitstaff

Provide banquet food and beverage service, in a AAA 4-diamond manner, to conference attendees. Assist the Banquet Director with food and beverage set up. Able to lift 30+ pounds. All shifts, weekends and holidays may be required.

Line Cook

Ability to work pantry, sauté and grill stations. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment. Good knife skills. Professional attitude with the ability to perform duties at AAA four diamond level. These positions require flexible scheduling with varied days off.

Bellperson

Full & part-time customer service-oriented individuals who can provide professional and friendly service in our Bellperson position. Must have a flexible schedule& valid driver's license - nights and weekends a must.

Guest Service Representative

Full-time customer service-oriented individuals who can provide professional and friendly service is needed at our Front Desk. Looking for someone experienced with computers (SMS Host considered a strong asset), customer service, and handling cash.
