Stoweflake Par 3, Nine Hole Practice Course
Looking to have fun and lower your handicap? Try Stoweflake's newest outdoor diversion - a 9-hole, par-3 executive course complete with professionally designed fairways, Bent grass greens, sand traps and water hazards. The new course will be open daily 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Cost is $25 per person or $15 per Stoweflake guest and Club at Stoweflake non-golf members.  Green fees are paid at the Golf Gazebo.  An adult must accompany children under the age of 12 and hitting mats are to be used by all beginners and children.

Putting Green
We have a professional putting green and 2 sand traps, designed and built by John J. Ponko. The contours and undulations of this nine-hole green allow you to practice virtually any shot found on a regulation golf course.  A computerized irrigation system keeps the green in perfect putting condition all season long.

Stowe Country Club
At the scenic 18-hole championship golf course, with its undulating fairways and manicured greens, you’ll be treated to a forgiving but challenging round of golf. The clear, crisp mountain air and long summer days make a round of golf at Stowe a pleasure to be savored. You’ll find a fully equipped pro shop featuring the latest fashions at competitive prices.  Click here to see the Stowe Country Club interactive course map and technical information.  To reserve tee times, contact the Stoweflake Mountain Vacation Planners at mvp@stoweflake.com or call 802.760.1126.  Check out our golf vacation packages.

Vermont Golf Academy
At most golf schools, you spend all day continuously driving balls and practicing with mind numbing repetition.  When the session is over, you are left with little direction on what to do next.  At the Vermont Golf Academy, you'll receive hands on instruction in all of the key areas of the game and personalized prescriptions for short, middle and long range improvement.

Our philosophy is simple: we are not going to wave a wand and make you a better golfer in 2 days.  We will give you all the tools and confidence to become a better golfer.  Before you leave, we will develop a schedule for ongoing communication about your golf game -  try getting that personalized attention from one of those giant golf schools?

Our enormous driving range includes a covered hitting area, short game skills zone, troubled lies and putting greens.

is all about building solid fundamentals. Students will meet at 8:30 a.m. the first day for a half hour orientation and reception in our video analysis room.  At 9:00 a.m., we head to the Academy practice range for four hours of instruction that will cover:

  • Initial Video: we capture your swing with a number of clubs prior to any instruction.
  • The fundamentals: Grip, stance, posture and alignment-the building blocks of the game

  • Tempo, rhythm and balance drills

Day 2 begins at 9:00 a.m. and focuses on solidifying your personal roadmap for improvement.

  • "After Video" & swing analysis
  • Set make up and composition
  • Putting, chipping, pitching and sand shots in our short game zone
